Imagine a group of people who’ve never developed a game before, but still think, “Why not?” – and that’s exactly what we did! RPG Maker, and a whole lot of Aspirin – and here’s the result. This is the demo of our very first game, created as part of our final school project (called a VA "Vertiefungs Arbeit") in our vocational school. A challenge that lasted just 8 weeks and threw plenty of obstacles our way!

Now, before you think: “Oh, another great game” – hold your horses! Don’t expect too much! The demo is short, not very polished, and sometimes you might wonder if we even knew what we were doing. But that’s the point – we just wanted to see if it’s possible to make a game when you have no idea what you’re doing. And guess what? It’s possible – but it requires a lot of patience and a good sense of humor! (And maybe a Blindfold xD)

As part of the VA, which lasts only 8 weeks, we didn’t just have to make a game, but also write a 43,000-character documentation about our development.

 We  managed to almost “finish” the game in 6 weeks (yeah, 6 weeks because, you know, 2 weeks of “Writing” and all that). It was a wild ride, and we want to share it with you, not to present a masterpiece, but to show that you can just start – no matter how clueless you are. Making mistakes? No problem! We have a lot to learn, but the journey itself is what really counts.
